SELF-GUIDED TOUR

From the start of your visit, dive into darkness and watch the stone walls come to life. Projections, screens, 3D maps, the images scroll in front of your eyes and the witnesses of the era will guide you from room to room to ensure you have an unforgettable experience.

The first part of the visit involves a film projected through the palace’s rooms. Guided by Jean Juvénal des Ursins, archbishop of Reims and head of the 1456 trial, you will be totally immersed in Joan’s history.

Then, thanks to various multimedia systems, the Historial will allow you to learn about the creation of the myth of the heroine and her politicization throughout the centuries in the 3 rooms which make up the Mythotheque. To finish, take advantage of your visit to discover the magnificent Salle des États and the bright Aubigné Chapel in the Archbishop’s Palace*.

*Subject to exceptional closures, the Mythotheque and these rooms can be visited separately from the 1st tour.

A free activity booklet is also available for children to follow the visit and get involved.

Discover the Joan of Arc Historial as a self-guided tour from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 7pm! Take the time to enjoy the audiovisual journey at your own pace.
